L2 offers after-school tutoring for children who don't know English well or at all. L2 is also offering adults the opportunity to learn English so that language is not a barrier to their work opportuniities in the United States.

L2 knows that handling the language of the New Testament is a privilege and responsibility. We will partner with a church to offer this language specialty to anyone young or old who would want to walk this exciting journey of seeing the world, present and ancient, through learning Koine Greek.
Many have strong faith. God's walk with us through our circumstances are bolstered in a great number of ways. But if one of your ways is to examine a close reading of a passage, Greek is certain to give you a foundation to stand on that is solid and strong.
Learning the language of another culture is challenging, but it yields fruit 10 times over. Give yourself an extra pair of eyes by looking through the telescope of time to the time 2000 years ago to a language and culture that established Christianity around the Roman empire. It will establish, deepen, and broaden that same great faith in your heart today.
People are always looking for ways to make faith in Jesus real to them. They want their own faith, not an adopted faith. Learning new writing scripts and modern equivalents for the ideas those new letters and words represent allows you to form a faith based on words not available to the casual modern reader. You will definitely enrich your Christian experience.
Of course, as you learn, you start to understand that translating is not merely changing one word for another with the same meaning. You understand that cultural meanings are left out sometimes or that the English equivalent doesn't fully represent the idea behind the Greek word. Thus, you will be introduced to some translation priniciples when such instances occur.
